The El Pali, Ayer, Hoy y Siempre Cultural Association has presented the XII Palista Route, a traditional tour through Seville commemorating the figure of the singer Francisco Palacios, known as El Pali.

This annual event, now in its twelfth edition, will take place on Saturday, June 20, starting at 10 AM. The route invites participants to remember the Seville that inspired El Pali's sevillanas, a singer who captured the essence and traditions of the city in his lyrics.
The official presentation of the route's poster took place at the Palace of the Marquises of La Algaba, a Mudejar building restored for public use. During the event, the importance of preserving the memory of popular Seville and its customs, as sung by Francisco Palacios, was highlighted.

"The patios of my Seville were lost."

The presentation was attended by Javier Montiel, founder of the Palista Route, and members of the singer's family, such as José Antonio Palacios Fernández, as well as José Antonio Palacios Ibáñez, president of the El Pali, Ayer, Hoy y Siempre Cultural Association. The delegate councilor for the Casco Antiguo District, Amidea Navarro, served as master of ceremonies.
The event included the screening of two commemorative videos and a performance by the sevillanas group Los del Guadalquivir, who performed their songs under the carved brick arches of the 15th-century palace. The route is an effort by the association to keep alive the legacy of the Troubadour of Seville and his songs, which evoke the life and traditions of the city.
The meeting point for those interested is June 20 at the Casa de la Moneda, in front of El Pali's statue on the old Aduana street, to begin a journey that promises a trip to the heart of the most authentic Seville.
