The city of Seville hosted the closing gala of the International Fashion Week of Andalusia (SIMA 41), celebrating its 25th edition with the 7th Andalusian Fashion Awards. The event, held at the Global Omnium Auditorium, brought together prominent figures from the sector to honor the avant-garde, tradition, and culture of fashion in Andalusia.
Among the honorees, the renowned designers Victorio & Lucchino received the SIMA 41 Honorary Award for their extensive careers. Meanwhile, Laura Corsini, founder of Bimani, was distinguished with the Award for Business Leadership. Other professionals, such as designers Rafael Urquizar and Beatriz Peñalver, were also recognized for their contributions to Andalusian fashion.
The gala served to highlight the talent, innovation, and international projection of fashion 'made in Andalusia'. The importance of brands, designers, models, and entrepreneurs driving the creative development of the sector, both regionally and globally, was emphasized.
This edition also underscored the runway's international vocation, strengthening commercial and creative ties with the Americas. The Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá received a special distinction, recognizing Colombia's role as a key partner and international bridge for Andalusian fashion, opening avenues for collaboration in trend exchange and the internationalization of design.
The complete list of winners for the 25th edition of SIMA 41 included awards for International Projection (Ernesto Naranjo), Talent Impulse (Talento Almeriense - Diputación de Almería), Craftsmanship (Centro Cultural Artístico-Científico Luis Gonzalo), New Andalusian Creativity (Daniel del Valle), Andalusian Fashion Ambassador (Beatriz Peñalver), Revelation Designer (Antonio del Canto), Business Leadership (Laura Corsini), International Bridge (Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá), Craftsmanship and Art (Rafael Urquízar), and the Honorary Award (Victorio & Lucchino).
The evening concluded with a cocktail reception featuring typical Andalusian gastronomy, which facilitated networking among the attending designers, entrepreneurs, influencers, and media.
