Negotiations for the Provincial Collective Agreement for Logistics Operators of Sevilla, affecting over 6,000 workers across approximately 200 companies, remain stalled. The meeting held this Wednesday at the Andalusian Extrajudicial System for Labor Conflict Resolution (Sercla) failed to bridge the gap between the parties.
Union sources described the positions as "distant" and confirmed that the strike planned for Thursday will proceed. Both sides have agreed to meet again this Friday in hopes of finding a resolution.
The latest offer from the employers' association included a 4% salary increase for 2026 and 3% for 2027, along with a collective agreement bonus of 36 euros per month. The business proposal did not include changes to working hours, which would remain at the 1,800 annual hours set in the previous agreement.
Unions consider these advances insufficient to meet the demands of the social side. The conflict has highlighted the strategic importance of the logistics sector, with some chains, such as Carrefour Express, warning of potential supply issues for basic products.
The dispute dates back to June 5th, following another meeting that ended without agreement. Since then, five strike days have taken place with significant participation, according to unions. Despite messages of normality from employers and calls for responsibility, last Friday's mediation also yielded no results.
