The technological equipment is designed as a support tool for hospitalized children, with a special focus on those with special educational needs. The aim is to foster stimulation, learning, and interaction during their stay at the healthcare center.
This initiative is part of the federation's social responsibility commitment, seeking to introduce new technological experiences into the pediatric hospital environment and improve the well-being of admitted minors through adapted virtual environments.
The handover ceremony took place at the hospital and was attended by institutional representatives, including the territorial delegate for Health and Consumption of the Junta de Andalucía in Seville, Silvia Pozo, the center's general manager, Nieves Romero, the vice-president of the Andalusian Football Foundation, Luis Medina Cantalejo, and the CEO of Minifunkids, María José Garrido.
The Sevillian company Minifunkids, specializing in the development of technological tools for diversity care, collaborated on the project. Its multidisciplinary team integrates profiles from education, healthcare, early intervention, and IT development to create accessible resources for individuals with specific needs.
Minifunkids' solutions focus on supporting stimulation and learning through content adapted to different motor, cognitive, sensory, and educational abilities, employing a playful approach to facilitate user comprehension and participation.
