The establishment La Costera, located on Cádiz's Paseo Marítimo, has celebrated its opening by offering 100 kilos of fried fish free of charge. Customers who visited the new venue could enjoy portions of marinated dogfish and fried calamari until supplies ran out.
The initiative aimed to promote one of the most anticipated services of its gastronomic offering: the new takeaway fried fish counter. The public's response was significant, with queues forming at the entrance to the takeaway area.
“"It was worth the wait!"
Behind La Costera are the Cádiz entrepreneurs Carlos Veiga, Miguel Ángel Veiga, and Paco Toro, who are also behind El Navegante, a well-known establishment in the Bay of Cádiz for its focus on seafood cuisine and local produce.
The new establishment's menu features freshly made fried fish, grilled fish, boiled seafood, and various other dishes. Among its highlights is the option to enjoy gluten-free fritters.
