The event, organized by Grupo Joly in collaboration with Save the Children, will take place at the Hotel Barceló Renacimiento, located on Isla de la Cartuja. The meeting will focus on the commitment to new generations and the need to establish robust public policies to address the challenges facing children in Andalusia.
The day will begin at 09:35 AM with a welcome from the director of a local newspaper, followed by an address from a patron of Save the Children. Subsequently, the president of the Economic and Social Council of Spain will deliver a keynote speech on the economic and social dimension of child protection.
Investing in childhood is not only a matter of social justice, but a fundamental strategy to guarantee cohesion and future development.
At 10:05 AM, a round table discussion titled “Andalusia for Children: Proposals for the XIII Legislature” will be held. This debate will feature candidates from the main political groups in the Andalusian Parliament, representing the provinces of Seville and Córdoba. The discussion will be moderated by the Director of Influence and Territorial Development at Save the Children and will serve to outline each party's proposals on this matter. The event will conclude around 10:45 AM.
This meeting highlights the importance of placing children's rights at the center of the political agenda, especially in a context of crucial challenges in child protection and the fight against child poverty in the Andalusian region.
