This figure was announced by the designation of origin, which comprises 14 municipalities and 19 cooperatives. Despite adverse weather conditions that caused damage to many olive groves and a slight decrease in production, the campaign has been assessed as “generally good and positive.”

The secretary of DOP Estepa, Moisés Caballero, highlighted the sector's efforts to overcome difficulties and ensure the quality of the final product. He also emphasized that DOP Estepa continues to prioritize both quality and quantity, maintaining a production model that combines excellence and capacity to meet market demands without compromising the prestige of certified extra virgin olive oil.
DOP Estepa oils have received significant accolades, including the Seville Provincial Council Awards 2025/2026, where they secured top honors, such as the best EVOO (extra virgin olive oil) in the province and the best organic EVOO. They were also recognized at the Expoliva Awards with the “Best Bottler” prize.
Internationally, DOP Estepa was recently honored with the Gold Award at the CIPE (China International Geographical Indications Products Expo), one of the most important events in the Asian market for products with differentiated quality. This recognition enhances its global projection and prestige in international markets, reaffirming its position as a leading reference in the olive oil sector through a blend of tradition, innovation, and a strong commitment to excellence.
