Djibril Sow concluded his third campaign with Sevilla at Balaídos, reaching the milestone of 100 official appearances for the club. The Swiss player arrived in Nervión in the summer of 2023 from Eintracht Frankfurt for 10 million euros and has a contract until 2029, following a recent extension.
The 2025/26 season has been Sow's most productive at Sevilla, setting a personal best with five goals and four assists. It has also been the season in which he has played the most matches, totaling 35 appearances.
The player is called up to the Swiss national team for the 2026 World Cup, an event that could serve as a platform to attract offers from other clubs. Sevilla, valuing the midfielder at eight million euros, might consider his sale given the club's financial situation, especially if a significant sale or capital increase does not materialize.
Sow already had suitors in the winter transfer window, such as Besiktas, and several German clubs, including his former team Eintracht Frankfurt, have him on their radar.
