This sporting event, part of the third regatta of the 29th Andalusia Cup, was organized by the Andalusian Rowing Federation with support from the Ministry of Culture and Sport of the Junta de Andalucía, the Municipal Sports Institute of Seville City Council, and the Diputación de Sevilla. The competition gathered approximately 500 athletes from eleven clubs across Seville, Cádiz, Málaga, and Almería, alongside invited teams such as Madrid Velocidad, Calpe Rowing Club, and Scottish Rowing LTD.
Within this regional competition, which included categories from junior to senior in various modalities, the Club Náutico Sevilla emerged as the overall medal winner, securing 13 gold, 7 silver, and 9 bronze medals. The Real Círculo de Labradores, also from Seville, took second place with 6 gold, 11 silver, and 7 bronze medals, while Tiempo Libre El Ejido from Almería completed the podium with one gold, two silver, and one bronze.
In the specific events of the fourth regatta of the Andalusia Cup, the Club de Remo Linense stood out with two medals: a silver for junior Christian Reyes and a bronze for cadet María García. Other clubs like Club de Remo Guadalquivir 86 and Real Club Mediterráneo de Málaga also featured in the general medal count.
The awards ceremony for this regional double competition was attended by Fernando Briones, president of the Andalusian Rowing Federation, accompanied by Enrique García, a director of the same federation.
