Andalusian candidates disconnect on reflection day: beers, books, and shopping

The main candidates for the presidency of the Junta de Andalucía have used the reflection day before the 17M elections to relax with activities such as having beers with friends, visiting bookstores, or doing everyday shopping.

The candidates from the main political parties in Andalusia have opted for a Saturday of rest and disconnection before the electoral day of May 17th. The activities shared on social media reflect a desire for tranquility and closeness with family and friends, far from the political tension of recent weeks.
The candidate for PP-A and current president of the Junta, Juanma Moreno, shared his intention to have a beer with friends, highlighting how these gatherings help him "recharge his batteries" after an intense campaign. He recalled the importance of recovering traditions lost due to the demands of electoral events.
For her part, the PSOE-A candidate, María Jesús Montero, spent the day in Seville. She visited the bookstore 'La Botica de lectores', where she purchased novels by Luis García Montero and Jesús Carrasco, planning an afternoon of reading to regain her strength.
The Vox candidate, Manuel Gavira, prioritized "returning home" to Cádiz, calling it a "family and conjugal priority." He shared a photo with friends and family, emphasizing the need to "hug our loved ones and regain strength."
José Ignacio García, candidate for Adelante, returned to Jerez de la Frontera. After "tidying up and doing laundry," he plans to enjoy the last hours of the Jerez fair in the company of friends.
The candidate for Por Andalucía, Antonio Maíllo, remembered the sixth anniversary of the death of Julio Anguita on social media. Additionally, he did some everyday shopping at a fish market in the Seville neighborhood of San Julián and is working on recovering his voice, which is somewhat hoarse after campaign events.
