The Adecco Group estimates that Andalusia will generate 111,490 temporary employment contracts between June and August 2026, representing a 9% increase compared to the previous summer.

The autonomous community positions itself as the recipient of 9% of the total temporary contracts projected in Spain, which will reach 1,236,615 according to the human resources company's forecasts. Sectors such as hospitality, logistics, commerce, food, and tourism are the main drivers of this seasonal demand.
Rubén Castro, director of Adecco Staffing, highlighted the growing anticipation of companies in planning staff reinforcement campaigns, especially for customer service, logistics operations, and tourism profiles. These sectors, key players during the summer period, confirm the positive affiliation data recently released.
Nationally, Catalonia will lead temporary hiring with over 237,600 contracts, followed by the Community of Madrid (nearly 224,000) and the Valencian Community (137,650). These five regions, including Andalusia, will account for two out of every three contracts formalized during the summer campaign.
In terms of relative growth, Castilla-La Mancha will register the largest increase with 26%, followed by the Canary Islands (19%) and Galicia (14%). Other regions such as Navarre and the Balearic Islands will also experience significant increases.
The services sector accounts for six out of every ten temporary contracts in Spain, with hospitality and tourism as the main drivers, representing an average of 13% of employment. Logistics, distribution, retail, food, and last-mile delivery also increase their staffing needs, as does the agricultural sector in various regions.
The most sought-after profiles will be linked to logistics and industry, including production operators, warehouse workers, and order pickers. Hospitality and tourism will require waiters, kitchen staff, and delivery personnel, while the agricultural sector will need handlers and farm laborers.
