The Ronda City Council recently began improvement works on Pirineos street, located in the district of Los Prados. The mayor of the city, Mari Paz Fernández, accompanied by the Councilor for Districts, Alicia López, and the responsible architect, visited the area this Thursday to oversee the start of the work.
The City Council has allocated an investment of almost 44,000 euros for the renovation of the Pirineos street pavement, which was in poor condition and whose improvement had been demanded by residents, as it is one of the main arteries of the district. The actions will also include the conditioning of accesses to homes and garages over an area of 1,142 square meters.
The mayor recalled that these works continue the improvement project for Larga street, which is connected to Pirineos street via the Virgen del Prado square. On Larga street, the intervention included sanitation and represented an investment of 47,000 euros.
Mari Paz Fernández emphasized that the districts are a priority for her government team and announced that the Virgen del Prado square will also be improved in February, with an approximate investment of 50,000 euros from AEPSA funds. With these actions, the district will receive around 150,000 euros.
