The Fiestas Department of the Salobreña City Council has highlighted the absence of significant incidents during the festive week, as well as the notable public response to the main events. This year's edition has successfully balanced the preservation of traditions with the incorporation of novelties, offering a diverse program aimed at all audiences.
Among the activities that drew the largest crowds were the Gran Prix, the Romería del Sur, and particularly the procession of the Virgen del Rosario, which once again brought together numerous residents and visitors. The concerts by Sergio Contreras and Raya Real, Sunday's flamenco dance performance, the equestrian exhibition, and the copla concert in Plaza Pablo Iglesias also received excellent reception.
Nelson Ligero, the Fiestas councilor, positively assessed the edition, emphasizing the tranquility of the celebrations and the distinct personality achieved this year. "We have managed to give this edition personality, recovering traditions and taking care of small details that have made a difference," stated Ligero.
The Department has expressed its gratitude to the municipal services, associations, collectives, artists, and companies for their collaboration in the festivities' organization. Gratitude has also been extended to residents and visitors for their participation and the festive atmosphere experienced throughout the week, concluding that "the festivities belong to everyone, and together we make them work."
