The municipal delegate for Urbanism, Jesús Vázquez, reported on the outcome of the latest Municipal Heritage Commission meeting. The delegation of powers by the Culture department of the Junta de Andalucía to the Ronda City Council aims to ensure legal certainty and reduce administrative times for new urban development projects in the historic complex.
During the meeting held on Thursday, October 8, twenty items were analyzed: seven residential projects, nine commercial, and four municipal. Municipal works include improvements to the paving of Molino de Alarcón street, actions in the Arab Baths, the replacement of a palm tree in Duquesa de Parcent square, and procedures related to the fauna of the Tajo Gorge.
Vázquez highlighted that residential and commercial projects total 1,170,509 euros. These initiatives will contribute to the improvement and conservation of buildings within Ronda's historic complex, preserving the heritage of this extensive area of the city.
