The mayor of Ronda, Mari Paz Fernández, accompanied by the Councilor for Public Works, Concha Muñoz, has inspected the progress of this infrastructure project, which has an investment of approximately 600,000 euros. The company Onzaga is responsible for the execution, with support from the Provincial Council of Málaga.
This new street, measuring around 350 meters in length, will be situated between Cuevas del Becerro and José Díaz Giles roads. Previously undeveloped urban land, its development will enhance the area and meet the demand of local property owners, while also improving urban mobility.
The project also includes extending the railway fence for increased safety. The new road, named Nuestro Padre Jesús del Prendimiento at the request of the relevant brotherhood, is currently about 30% complete.
Furthermore, the development will create approximately 100 free parking spaces and upgrade the area's drainage, paving, sidewalk, and lighting infrastructure.
