The Department of Festivals, led by municipal delegate Rebeca Muñoz, has intensified work at the Ángel Harillo Fairgrounds, the celebration's epicenter. This year, the fairgrounds will host a dozen stalls managed by local groups, represented by the Association of Ronda Peñas (ASOPE), along with three stalls aimed at young attendees. Efforts are underway for their setup, as well as for lighting, shaded areas, and services, including 'selfie' points and Andalusian-inspired decoration.
The detailed fair program will be announced shortly. It is worth noting that the official poster and those for complementary activities have already been presented. The 2026 Fair will see the return of its bullfighting events, notably the 67th Goyesca Bullfight featuring Morante de la Puebla, José María Manzanares, and Juan Ortega, alongside rejoneador Diego Ventura. The 42nd Ronda Bullfight of Rejones, a tribute to Álvaro Domecq Romero, the Extraordinary Novillada Without Picadors, and the Harness Competition will also take place.
With support from entities such as the Regional Government of Andalusia, Unicaja Foundation, Malaga Provincial Council, and various cultural and sports associations, events like the 17th Equestrian Costume and Tack Competition (September 3rd), the 56th Festival de Cante Grande (August 22nd) with renowned flamenco artists, and the 10th Goyesca Bullfighting Proclamation, delivered by journalist Cayetana Álvarez de Toledo (September 4th), will be held. The Galas, in their 52nd edition (August 29th-30th), will feature representation from Turkey, India, Mexico, France, Easter Island, and Ciudad Real, in addition to Ronda.
As pre-fair events, the mayor of Grazalema, Carlos García, will deliver the fair's proclamation on August 20th at the Blas Infante Auditorium. This event underscores the strengthened ties between Grazalema and Ronda following Ronda's reception of over 600 residents from Grazalema displaced by severe storms earlier in the year.
Another significant event will be the Dinner to benefit victims of the earthquake in Venezuela, on August 27th at the Convent of Santo Domingo. Reservations, with a donation of 45 euros, can be made through the Association of Brotherhoods and Confraternities of Ronda.
