The Councilor for Festivals, Concha Muñoz, explained that the Parade will feature a total of nine floats, two of which will be available for children wishing to participate. Groups from the Galas of Easter Island, France, Mexico, Ciudad Real, and India will add color, along with other animations. Mayoress Mari Paz Fernández also visited the fairgrounds to oversee preparations.
Following the Parade, the festive lighting will be switched on, without fireworks, adhering to the Junta de Andalucía's recommendation due to high fire risk. An institutional visit and reception at the Peña Cayetano's stand will officially open the Fair.
The fairgrounds, accessible by a small train and bus, will host activities organized by various peñas. Turismo de Ronda has launched a competition to encourage float decoration. Three parking areas with approximately one thousand spaces have been set up, including grounds near the train station leased by the City Council from Adif for a new permanent parking facility.
Ronda's Fair is regaining its splendor with the return of bullfighting events: the Novillada, Rejones, and Goyesca, following the completion of the bullring's renovation works. The Harness Exhibition Competition also returns to the historic Ronda bullring.
Among the notable events during the Fair are the concert by Miguel Campello and the World Ham Championship.
The program includes the Parade on September 1st, the concert by Miguel Campello on September 2nd, and the Equestrian Costume and Harness Competition on September 3rd. Bullfighting events are scheduled for September 4th with the Novillada and the Goyesca Bullfighting Proclamation by Cayetana Álvarez de Toledo; on September 5th with the Ronda Rejones Bullfight and the Goyesca Bullfight featuring artists like Morante de la Puebla and Diego Ventura; and on September 6th with the Harness Exhibition Competition.
