The work, which began this Friday and will extend through next week, includes the planting of around 25 specimens of trees and shrubs to fill empty tree pits and create a more attractive space. Species adapted to the local climate have been selected, and the irrigation system has been checked to ensure proper maintenance.
In parallel, the Public Lighting department will install new strategic lighting points to enhance the garden area at night. Delegate Concha Muñoz stated that this action will help improve the image of one of the main entrances to Ronda.
The City Council is confident that, with the growth of the new vegetation, the area will present a completely renewed appearance next spring. The municipal objective is to continue beautifying public spaces and reinforcing the city's landscape quality through actions that improve both the aesthetics and functionality of urban environments.
