The municipal delegate for Agriculture, Juan Carlos González, has reported on the publication in the Public Sector Contracting Platform of the project to improve roads in the areas of La Cimada and Los Prados. The initiative has an investment of 209,552.59 euros, and interested companies have until next July 21st, at 11:59 PM, to submit their bids under an urgent processing procedure.
The project includes interventions on a total of twelve roads and streets distributed across the neighborhoods of La Cimada and Los Prados. Among the routes to be improved are the Camino Público Cantarrana (CM126), the Camino Público Arriate-La Cimada (CM120), and the streets Cacerías, Alcubilla, Morosanto, El Río, Alta, and El Caño. Work will also be carried out on the Camino Público Vecinal de Los Prados (CM116), the Camino Público Servidumbre Cortijo El Peñón (CM114), the Camino Público de Las Monjas (CM153), and the Camino Loma Reguera (CM234), located in the rural district of El Rosalejo. The main objective of these works is to improve the surface and drainage of these routes, which are currently in a state of significant deterioration.
González highlighted that these works address a long-standing demand from the residents of La Cimada and Los Prados. It was also specified that the Camino Público Servidumbre de Surga (CM115) is not included in this tender, as it will be improved through the Emergency Plan of the Junta de Andalucía, which will allocate more than 100,000 euros to its rehabilitation as part of the planned actions for the municipality's rural road network.
