The Youth Delegation of the Ronda City Council has installed, for the second consecutive year, a water slide on Andrés Aguilar Gracián street, in the San Rafael neighborhood. Dozens of children and young people participated in this activity, which also featured foam cannons and various water inflatables located in San Rafael park.
The municipal delegate for Youth, Jorge Fernández, highlighted the positive response from attendees, stating: “The response could not have been better on a morning with such hot weather. Many children and young people are enjoying this activity and this get-together”.
This initiative is part of the Verano Joven 2026 program, launched by the Youth Delegation of the Ronda City Council. The program also includes the opening of the Manolo López municipal swimming pool during night hours for young people aged 10 to 30, as well as canyoning activities in the Sima del Diablo, in Júzcar.
The program will conclude this Friday, August 7, with another canyoning event in La Buitreras, on the Guadiaro river. Fernández expressed his satisfaction with how young people have embraced these proposals.
