The Citizen Security Area of Vícar is intensifying surveillance efforts to address violations related to the dumping of belongings, furniture, construction materials, and cardboard on public streets. This plan aims to raise awareness about the care of public spaces and to stop offenders, many from other municipalities, who use Vícar's streets to dispose of waste.
Antonio Bonilla recalled that the City Council, along with the Local Police, is working intensely on control and surveillance against those who uncivilly pollute public spaces. This problem affects numerous municipalities and is due to the irresponsible attitude of a few.
As a result of these efforts, the number of fines for non-compliance with municipal ordinances on Circular Economy, Waste Law, and Protection of Public Spaces is increasing. Sanctions can reach up to 3,000 euros. The ordinance penalizes the abandonment of debris, construction materials, belongings, furniture, vehicles, graffiti, and vandalism. It is also reminded that placing waste or cardboard boxes outside recycling bins is also subject to a fine. Antonio Bonilla highlighted the good behavior and civility of Vícar's residents and called for their cooperation.
The council conducts thorough monitoring and sanctioning of these infractions, sending a clear message of awareness to the public.
