The celebrations in Vícar, part of the La Antorcha de las Letras initiative, have placed students at the forefront. IES La Puebla has joined this commemoration, strongly advocating for the performing arts.
Among the performances, students from the fourth year of ESO and second year of Bachillerato enjoyed Federico García Lorca's classic play La casa de Bernarda Alba, performed by the Farandulario Teatro company. The show, held at the Auditorio de Vícar, was met with great anticipation and silence from the audience.
The Vícar City Council has collaborated closely in organizing these II Theater Conferences, reaffirming its commitment to promoting the performing arts. Municipal representatives accompanied the students at the inauguration of this activity, which aims to become an annual tradition.
The program continued with another performance, this time by the students themselves, who staged the play Las Mil y una Noches. This initiative seeks not only to offer workshops and classes but also to allow students to become creators and actors of their own artistic proposals.
