The operations were carried out as part of preventive actions against drug trafficking. In the first incident, on the promenade of Balerma, officers observed an individual attempting to evade police presence. Upon interception, a hashish tablet weighing over 90 grams was found. During this operation, two individuals attempted to actively hinder police work, leading to their arrest.
The second operation took place in Las Norias de Daza, where a suspicious exchange was detected between a vehicle occupant and a person outside. The subsequent search uncovered seven small bags containing a whitish substance and 540 euros in cash, resulting in an arrest for suspected retail drug trafficking.
In a third intervention, also in Las Norias de Daza, an individual exhibiting signs of nervousness was identified. During a search of their belongings, the Civil Guard seized 21 methamphetamine (MDMA) pills and several blister packs of prescription anxiolytic medication, leading to their arrest.
The compiled proceedings, along with the detainees and the seized drugs, have been handed over to the competent judicial authority in El Ejido. The Civil Guard has emphasized the importance of these preventive controls in combating retail drug trafficking and urged citizens to report any suspicious activity.
