The XVII El Ejido Book Fair successfully held its second day with a significant public turnout, blending literature with music and featuring authors like Santiago Posteguillo.

El Ejido's Plaza Mayor was the vibrant hub for the XVII Book Fair, which on its second day, April 17, 2026, presented a diverse program that captivated hundreds of attendees. The Councillor for Culture, Elena Gómez, was present at all the day's activities.
The morning was dedicated to younger audiences, with an event for Educational Centers where Moisés Palmero, from the El árbol de las piruletas Association, enchanted children with his Tales from the Alboran Sea.
In the afternoon, the El Ejido Symphonic Band opened the session with a concert that preceded the presentation of Tropezar dos veces en la misma piedra, the new novel by Miguel Ángel Cruz Álvarez, director of the Level Up, Dance Estudio Performing Arts Studio.

The day concluded with the literary encounter with Santiago Posteguillo, where the work Los tres mundos was presented. A talk that was attended by hundreds of people and in which the intricacies of the third novel dedicated to Julius Caesar, after Roma soy yo and Maldita Roma, which narrates the conquest of Gaul, an unconquerable place destined to be the tomb of Julius Caesar himself, were unraveled.

The day concluded with a literary gathering featuring the acclaimed writer Santiago Posteguillo, who presented his work Los tres mundos. Before a large audience, Posteguillo delved into the details of this novel, the third in his series dedicated to Julius Caesar, following Roma soy yo and Maldita Roma, which explores the conquest of Gaul.
Friday's program will continue with Moisés Palmero's morning participation and his Tales from the Alboran Sea for Educational Centers. In the afternoon, the main tent will host presentations by Pedro Mañas, David Sierra Listón, and Ángela Banzas, as well as a poetry recital by David Galán “Redry”.
