This year's central theme will be Golden Age Attire. Participants must depict a person, male or female, dressed in clothing characteristic of the era, covering various social classes.
The technique is open, and the support can be canvas, cardboard, paper, board, printed digital art, or any other material with a maximum thickness of 3 millimeters. The artworks, which must measure 50 x 40 centimeters, should be submitted unframed. Each student may submit a maximum of two creations.
Registration is free, and the submission period for artworks runs from April 20 to May 3, 2026. Submissions can be made in person at the Casa de la Cultura in Roquetas de Mar or sent by postal mail to the same address.
“"Evaluation criteria will include originality in costume selection, faithful representation of the chosen attire, technical quality of the illustration, and the resources used in executing the work."
Cash prizes have been established: a first prize of 300 euros, a second prize of 250 euros, and a third prize of 200 euros. Additionally, a municipal honorable mention will be awarded, endowed with 150 euros. The jury's decision will be announced during May.
