The historic troupe Els Joglars will perform at the El Ejido Auditorium with a revamped staging of Cervantes' famous work. This version transforms the classic interlude into a current satire that addresses themes such as manipulation, appearances, and false moral superiority.
The production bridges the original text with today's social reality, marked by the omnipresence of social media, mobile devices, and artificial intelligence. The scenic proposal demonstrates how collective deceptions and the fear of ridicule persist with the same force as centuries ago, all presented with a keen sense of critical humor and irony.
The performance will take place on May 24, 2026, at 8:30 PM at the Teatro Auditorio de El Ejido. Tickets will be available at prices of €13 and €15.
