The incident, which occurred at a residence in the town of El Ejido, involved the theft of goods valued at approximately 8,000 euros. The assailants gained access to the property by breaking through one of its walls, taking a significant amount of cash, gold jewelry, and a high-end electric scooter.
The investigation began following a report filed by the victims, who detailed the assault on their home. Civil Guard officers were dispatched to the scene to collect evidence and analyze the traces left by the criminals.
Despite the absence of video surveillance systems in the area, the investigators' expertise was crucial. Their skill and meticulous analysis of the information obtained led to the identification of a local resident as the alleged perpetrator of the robbery.
“"The Civil Guard reminds citizens of the importance of immediately reporting any criminal act, as well as providing as much information as possible about stolen items to facilitate their subsequent recovery."
The corresponding proceedings have been placed at the disposal of the Court of First Instance and Instruction on duty in El Ejido, while efforts continue to locate and recover the stolen items.
