The team from El Ejido, which had accumulated five consecutive victories, could not maintain its momentum against an opponent that took an early lead. A combined play by Quelle and Jorge Tabuenca put the visitors ahead, forcing Guillermo Martínez's squad to react.
Despite chances created by players like Nacho Gil and Rufino, the outstanding performance of the opposing goalkeeper, Molina, prevented an equalizer. Imprecision in playmaking and turnovers proved costly for El Ejido Futsal, as Marco Forga and Koke extended Entrerríos Automatización's lead.
Before halftime, Rufino managed to narrow the gap, giving the home team hope. In the second half, a penalty converted by Nico Rosa and a goal by Josete leveled the score. However, the joy was short-lived, as Muniesa and Fran Tabuenca once again put the visiting team ahead.
Despite another equalizer from Josete in the final minutes, Entrerríos Automatización sealed their victory with a late goal. The defeat, however, did not have a greater penalty for El Ejido Futsal, as Wanapix's loss to Leganés allowed them to maintain their prominent position in the Second Division standings.
