The vendor, Leopoldo Pedrosa, was responsible for spreading the luck, selling nine winning tickets, each worth 40,000 euros. This event has generated a mix of surprise and joy among the lucky winners and the vendor himself.
“"You see people giving away (the prize) and you think that one day it has to be your turn, and I'm very happy for the people. This will surely boost sales for several months and people will be happier with me."
Pedrosa, an ONCE vendor since 1987 and affiliated with the organization due to his blindness, expressed his satisfaction at the happiness he was able to bring to his ticket buyers.
In addition to Málaga, the April 10 draw also benefited other Andalusian towns. The Sevillian town of Dos Hermanas was the luckiest, with a total of 6,360,000 euros, including the winning series of six million euros and another nine tickets worth 40,000 euros each. Meanwhile, La Línea de la Concepción (Cádiz) received 400,000 euros, thanks to ten tickets each winning 40,000 euros.
In total, the Cuponazo distributed over 7.1 million euros in major prizes across these three Andalusian provinces. Nationally, the draw awarded a total of nine million euros in major prizes across five autonomous communities: Andalusia, Catalonia, Castilla-La Mancha, the Community of Madrid, and the Valencian Community.
The ONCE Cuponazo takes place every Friday and offers, for three euros, a main prize of 6 million euros for matching five digits and the series number. Additionally, there are 134 prizes of 40,000 euros for matching the five digits of the winning number, as well as smaller prizes for matching initial and final digits of the ticket.
