The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has issued yellow alerts for rain and storms this Wednesday in the provinces of Malaga, Cordoba, and Seville, following a significant weather change.

The stable weather that dominated during Holy Week has given way to an unstable scenario, with significant rainfall in several Andalusian provinces. Aemet has established alerts for Wednesday, anticipating a stationary front that will cause persistent rains.
The provinces of Cordoba, Malaga, and Seville are under a yellow warning due to the forecast of rain and storms. Up to fifteen liters per square meter are expected to accumulate in one hour in the affected areas.
Specifically, yellow alerts have been activated in the Subbética cordobesa region, the Sierra sur hispalense, and the Malaga areas of Antequera, Ronda, Sol y Guadalhorce, and Axarquía. These warnings will be in effect from the beginning of Wednesday until 12:00 PM.
In addition to the rainfall, Aemet has indicated that maximum temperatures will experience a «notable decrease» in these regions, and the possibility of locally heavy showers is not ruled out.
