The assault took place around 11:00 PM on Deva street. A witness alerted the 112 Andalucía Emergencies service about a public fight where several individuals were reportedly carrying knives. 112 dispatched 061 health services and the National Police.
The victim received medical attention at the scene and was subsequently transferred to the Málaga University Clinical Hospital. At present, further details regarding the circumstances of the assault and whether any arrests have been made have not been disclosed.
This marks the third stabbing incident recorded in the Málaga capital in recent weeks. Previously, a 19-year-old waiter was stabbed in the back while working at a restaurant in Plaza Mitjana, in the Center of Málaga. Days before that, a 25-year-old man was stabbed on Alameda de Colón; the National Police linked this incident to a prior judicial dispute between the involved parties, leading to the arrest of six individuals.
