The president of the PP of Málaga, Patricia Navarro, has called on the leaders of Vox and PSOE not to come to Málaga with the intention of generating divisions or confrontations. She stated that such attitudes are contrary to the tranquility, stability, legal certainty, and coexistence desired by the province's citizens.
“"Here, one comes to work and propose solutions to residents' problems; to promote coexistence and seek stability for the people of Málaga and Andalusia."
The popular leader emphasized that the priority of the Popular Party and the Government of Juanma Moreno is the province of Málaga and its municipalities, such as Vélez-Málaga. She highlighted that their work focuses on resolving citizen challenges, rejecting political disputes that divert attention from what is truly important.
Among the topics discussed, Navarro mentioned improving mobility in the area, celebrating the recent incorporation of Vélez-Málaga into the Metropolitan Transport Consortium. This measure aims to ease traffic on the eastern coast and promote public transport, although she also criticized congestion on the A-7, attributing it to the lack of action by the Spanish Government.
In the healthcare sector, the president of the Málaga PP announced that the Torre del Mar health center will soon be a reality thanks to a collaboration agreement between the City Council and the Junta de Andalucía. Furthermore, in education, she highlighted the comprehensive reform of the IES Reyes Católicos and referred to future projects such as the Chilches institute and a new educational center in Torre del Mar.
Finally, Navarro underscored the Andalusian Government's commitment to water management, emphasizing the need for planning and investment to prevent future droughts, despite recent rainfall. She concluded by reaffirming that Vélez-Málaga and the province are at the heart of the Popular Party's policies, in contrast to other formations that, according to her, only seek confrontation.
