The political group has emphasized its focus on "active listening" and direct engagement with residents to gather proposals, a practice that, according to its representatives, has been consistent over the years.
“"Not all parties running in the upcoming elections can do the same. The Popular Party approaches the election with the peace of mind of having delivered for the people of Málaga and Andalusia."
Among the achievements mentioned, the construction of the Virgen de la Esperanza Hospital was highlighted. This project, though committed since 2009, only materialized with the arrival of the current Andalusian Government. This infrastructure is considered the most significant healthcare development in the last two decades.
Reference was also made to the expansion works of the Málaga metro, which are progressing underground towards the Hospital Civil area, as demanded by residents. Currently, two of the three sections of Line 2's expansion are underway, with the third set to begin shortly.
Regarding housing, the party leadership contrasted the state law, which, in their view, has encouraged illegal occupation, with the promotion and construction of subsidized housing (VPO) in the province of Málaga. It was noted that in the last seven years, the promotion of protected housing has quadrupled, and local councils, in collaboration with the Junta de Andalucía, have committed to boosting 20,000 affordable homes.
The party concluded that, while significant steps have been taken, there are still areas for improvement, and continuous dialogue with citizens is essential for establishing new commitments.
