A total of 9,510 students will commence the University Entrance Exams (PAU) in the province of Málaga, spread across 16 venues, starting June 2nd.

This year's PAU examination session in the province of Málaga will involve 9,510 students, an increase of 575 compared to the previous year. The tests are scheduled to take place from June 2nd to June 4th at 16 designated venues.
The "competency-based" approach and common correction criteria for all autonomous communities, introduced last academic year, will be maintained, as announced by the University of Málaga (UMA).
Over 400 examiners, comprising staff from the UMA and high school teachers, will be responsible for grading the exams. Of the students registered at the University of Málaga, 1,540 will only sit for the Admission exams, which are designed to boost scores for degree access.
The venues in the capital city of Málaga include seven faculties and schools within the Teatinos campus: Medicine, School of Industrial Engineering, Higher Technical School of Telecommunications Engineering, Higher Technical School of Computer Engineering, Communication Sciences and Tourism, Psychology and Logopedics, Law, and Education Sciences.
Across the province, venues are located in high schools in Vélez-Málaga (IES Juan de la Cierva), Torre del Mar (IES María Zambrano), Benalmádena (IES Arroyo de la Miel), Antequera (IES Pintor José María Fernández), Marbella (IES Río Verde), Fuengirola (IES Fuengirola Nº1), Estepona (IES Monterroso), Ronda (IES Doctor Rodríguez Delgado), and Cártama (IES Valle del Azahar).
The general call for students is set for Tuesday, June 2nd, at 07:30 AM, one hour before the first exam begins. On subsequent days, students are required to arrive at least half an hour before the scheduled start time for each examination slot.
Students must present a valid identification document (DNI, NIE, passport, or driver's license) along with the sheet containing barcode labels for the exam subjects, which will be provided during the identification process.
The first day will feature exams in Spanish Language and Literature II, History of Spain or History of Philosophy, and a Foreign Language (access phase). The second day will offer choices such as Musical Analysis II, Artistic Drawing II, Latin II, Mathematics II, General Sciences, Performing Arts II, Mathematics Applied to Social Sciences II, Greek II, and Technical Drawing applied to Plastic Arts and Design II.
The morning of the second day will also include tests for Physics, Choir and Vocal Technique II, Cultural and Artistic Movements, and Business and Business Model Design. The third day will cover Technical Drawing II, Biology, Design, Geography, and History of Music and Dance.
Afternoon exam sessions on Wednesday and Thursday are reserved for students with documented timetable conflicts, with the schedule to be published before the tests commence. Provisional grades will be available on June 11th from 10:00 AM, with a review period running from June 12th to June 16th.
