The province of Málaga woke up under a yellow alert for rainfall and storms, with water accumulations exceeding 37 liters per square meter in key locations such as the capital's airport and the town of Coín.

In recent hours, heavy rains have returned to Málaga, placing the province on alert. By mid-morning, approximately 40 liters of water per square meter had been recorded over a 12-hour period.
Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport was one of the most affected areas, accumulating 37.7 liters by 11:30 AM. This figure positions it as the second location with the highest precipitation in Andalusia, only surpassed by Benamejí, in Córdoba, which reached 38.2 mm.
In third place, another Málaga town, Coín, registered 37.6 mm, a quantity very similar to that of the capital. The day has provided various images showcasing the intensity of the rainfall across the province.
