The discovery occurred when the young women, who are pursuing their studies in the capital, found the wallet. Without hesitation, they reported the incident to the Local Police, who then went to their accommodation to collect the wallet. Inside, officers confirmed the presence of 1,332.50 euros, along with essential documents such as a credit card, driving license, and health card belonging to the owner.
The agents stated in a press release that the young women, showing an exemplary civic attitude, proceeded to report the finding to the Police.
After receiving the wallet, the officers initiated efforts to locate the owner. He was identified as a 42-year-old man, who was contacted and summoned to the GIAA facilities. Upon his arrival, he was handed all his recovered belongings, expressing profound gratitude and stating that he was unaware of how he had lost the wallet.
The cash in the wallet was intended for the repair of a company van, used by his employer for assisting people with functional diversity.
