The Málaga CF squad begins a new phase of its pre-season this Monday with a training camp at the Hotel Atalaya Park in Estepona, which will last until Friday. This period will intensify physical and tactical work, preparing the team for their league debut scheduled for August 19.
During their stay in Estepona, the team will play two consecutive friendly matches. The first will be on Thursday against Qatar's Al-Arabi SC at the Marbella Football Center facilities. Access for fans will cost 26 euros.
On Friday, after the training camp concludes, the expedition will depart for Ceuta to compete in the Trofeo Ciudad de Ceuta against the local team at the Alfonso Murube stadium. The match is scheduled for 7:00 PM, and the club is monitoring the situation in the city, although the game is still proceeding.
This preparation week is crucial for coach Funes and the sporting management to make decisions regarding the continuity of some players and to finalize the necessary signings to compete in the top tier of Spanish football.
After this training camp and the friendlies, only ten days will remain until Málaga CF's return to LaLiga EA Sports, completing the final phase of preparation and squad configuration.
