The Local Government Board of Málaga has given its approval to the guidelines that will govern the call for 266 positions. Of these, 150 positions will be for new entries and 116 for internal promotion, aiming to meet the staffing needs of the council while adhering to the replacement limit.
Among the most notable positions are 31 for the Fire Department and 16 for the Local Police, thus strengthening essential services for citizens. The distribution of positions covers a wide range of professional profiles, from general administration technicians to specialists in various fields.
The offer also includes specific positions for people with disabilities, reserving 10% of the total, in compliance with current regulations. This percentage is divided into positions for people with general disabilities, intellectual disabilities, and mental illness, promoting labor inclusion in public administration.
In addition to new entry positions, internal promotion will allow public employees to advance in their professional careers, with 116 positions allocated for this purpose, exceeding the 25% established by Law 5/2023 of the Andalusian Public Function. The application period will open after the publication of the extract in the Official State Gazette (BOE), and will be announced on the municipal website and the electronic bulletin board.
