After visiting Barcelona and Valencia, 'Navarra On Tour' arrives in the capital of Málaga on May 18 with a full program of activities at the Hotel Catalonia Molina Lario. This event is establishing itself as an enological experience that goes beyond the traditional tasting format.
The day has been designed to offer an open, experiential, and contemporary approach to the world of D.O. Navarra wines, focusing on proposals that combine tradition and innovation. The program includes activities for professionals, starting at 10:30 AM with the opening of the winery showroom, a direct meeting space with producers. At 1:00 PM, a master tasting will be held under the theme 'Great Discoveries: Unexpected Navarra', a session that will allow participants to explore an exclusive selection of lesser-known wines that represent the region's richness and diversity.
The morning program will conclude with a brunch paired with D.O. Navarra rosés, designed to highlight their gastronomic versatility in a relaxed setting. In the afternoon, the event opens to the general public with 'Tardeo con Origen', taking place between 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM. This activity offers a more casual format, including a winery showroom, free tasting of a selection of wines – with a special focus on rosés and other prominent references – live music, and participatory dynamics, aiming to introduce wine to new consumer profiles from an accessible and contemporary perspective.
“"To offer professionals and enthusiasts the opportunity to discover what is happening in Navarra, even those who think they know it, as they will find proposals that will surprise them."
Registrations for this stop in Málaga are now open, with limited capacity for the various activities, so the organization recommends formalizing participation in advance. 'Navarra On Tour: wines and tastings for free minds' is part of a global positioning strategy for the Navarra Designation of Origin that will visit six Spanish cities, including upcoming stops in Bilbao, Madrid, and Gijón.
Rosé wines are the hallmark of D.O. Navarra, standing out for their freshness, versatility, and gastronomic power. Garnacha is the most emblematic variety of the region and best conveys the geographical richness and diversity of this landscape.
