The Rural Dynamization Service of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Water, and Rural Development has initiated the RuralJoven -ChangeMakers 2026 project. This pilot program aims to identify young individuals with the potential to drive projects and youth participation processes in their towns, acting as 'Changemakers'.
The initiative is part of the EnMediodelMedio meeting, organized annually by the Ministry at the CEULAJ in Mollina (Málaga). This event seeks to be a space for rural youth, promoting idea exchange, strengthening rural identity, fostering entrepreneurship, and creating alliances.
Up to 50 young people aged between 18 and 35 residing in towns across Andalucía can participate in RuralJoven- ChangeMakers. Selected participants will receive prior training before the meeting, which will take place at the CEULAJ in Mollina on October 23, 24, and 25, 2026. During the event, knowledge areas and key resources to enhance youth participation will be explored, with the collaboration of prominent entities and professionals.
The program will conclude with a practical phase where participants will develop a project focused on rural youth, which will be executed subsequently. Candidate selection will be based primarily on suitability for the required profile and personal commitment demonstrated in the application.
