The intervention, part of the regional Asphalt Plan, has a budget of three million euros. Work has started on the carriageway towards Campillos, specifically on the section between the capital and the Málaga Tech area.
Due to the high traffic volume, which reaches 74,000 vehicles per day, the tasks are being carried out at night by reducing lanes. The project includes pothole repairs, pavement milling, repainting of horizontal signage, and the replacement of signaling elements and expansion joints.
This action adds to other recent investments on the same road, such as the commissioning of the BUS-VAO lane and the start of the conversion into a highway of the section between Casapalma and Cerralba.
