The Málaga Fair 2026 will unveil an extensive program featuring almost 200 free musical and artistic shows designed for all audiences. Among the notable names on the lineup are Medina Azahara, Nancys Rubias, Antonio Carmona, and Paloma San Basilio. The program aims to promote the city's traditions with a diverse range of musical styles and local talent.
In addition to the aforementioned artists, the public can enjoy performances by Diana Navarro, Zenet, and David de María. The organization has emphasized that most of the artists are from Málaga, reinforcing the commitment to local talent and the promotion of the city through its events.
Performances will be spread across various stages, including the Municipal Auditorium, the Municipal Flamenco and Copla Stage, the Municipal Children's Stage, the Verdiales Stage, the Popular Málaga Folklore Stage, the Equestrian Exhibition Center, the Youth Esplanade, and squares in the Historic Center. The Municipal Auditorium will host concerts from August 15th to 22nd.
A highlight of this edition will be the farewell concert by the Cordoban band Medina Azahara, who have chosen the Málaga Fair for their final stage performance. Councilor Teresa Porras described this event as an "authentic luxury" and a "unique and very special moment for all the people of Málaga."
Flamenco will have a prominent space at the Municipal Flamenco and Copla Stage and at the Peña Juan Breva, with daily performances. Verdiales will have dedicated stages at Cortijo de Torres and performances on Larios Street. Popular Málaga folklore and varied musical entertainment will complete the offerings in the city center.
The Equestrian Exhibition Center will feature shows such as 'Málaga Dreams on Horseback,' and the Youth Esplanade will be the hub for DJ sets. The La Malagueta Bullring will host its traditional bullfighting fair.
This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Magical Fair, dedicated to children and families, with spaces at the municipal children's stage and in the Plaza de la Merced. The project, founded by Alberto Díaz de la Quintana, has evolved over the years, establishing itself as a cultural benchmark.
