The incident, which forced the suspension of service between Álora station and Málaga Centro Alameda, was resolved around 3:00 PM. According to Renfe, normal operations have been progressively restored, and trains will resume their usual frequency in the coming hours.
The train departing from Álora at 12:55 PM was stopped at Pizarra station due to circumstances beyond the company's control. The presence of an individual near the tracks prompted the service interruption to ensure safety.
Medium-distance routes connecting the Costa del Sol with Seville also experienced delays, although their connection was restored more quickly. However, the C-2 commuter line, serving towns such as Campanillas, Cártama, and Aljaima, did not return to normal until after mid-afternoon.
Renfe confirmed that once the individual was moved away from the risk area and it was verified that their life was not in danger, circulation was authorized to resume. Since 3:00 PM, no further incidents have been reported, although the 3:40 PM train from Málaga Centro Alameda to Álora departed with a 15-minute delay.
