Although the Malaga Fair has not traditionally been a major draw for cruise lines, this year, 2026, is expected to see seven cruise calls during the festive period, an unusual circumstance. The most notable day will be Friday, August 21st, when four ships will converge in the port's waters, marking the largest concentration of cruise ships during the Fair week.
While none of the ships are docking specifically for the Fair, it is anticipated that many tourists will take the opportunity to explore the city center. Departures for these four vessels are scheduled between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
This gathering of four ships is the fourth such event planned for 2026. Arrivals are scheduled between seven and eight in the morning. The largest vessel will be the Arvia from P&O Cruises, making a repeat visit in August. Also coinciding at the docks will be the Seven Seas Navigator and the Seven Seas Splendor, both from Regent Seven Seas Cruises, marking the first time two ships from this line dock together in Malaga.
Completing the quartet of ships docking this Friday is the Ambience from Ambassador Cruise Line, a British company whose corporate image features green and purple, the same colors as the flag of Malaga.
