The final was characterized by its high intensity and duration, with four players delivering a great performance. Gemma Triay stood out for her crucial plays at key moments. After a first set decided by fine margins, Triay and Brea, who had previously won in Gijón, Cancún, and Rome, were overcome by the grit and skill of Bea González, who was defending last year's title, and the composure of Paula Josemaría.
The final set was resolved in a tie-break where the top-ranked players made the decisive choices. This was the seventh Premier Padel final of the season between these two pairs, with González-Josemaría holding a favorable record (five wins to two), but Triay and Brea have added another victory to their record.
In the men's category, world number ones Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia were crowned champions after defeating Juan Lebrón and Leo Augsburger with a decisive 6-2, 6-2 scoreline in just 53 minutes. Coello and Tapia now have their sixth title of the 2026 season and become three-time winners of the Málaga P1, a tournament they have won in the last three editions.
