The city of Málaga prepares to experience another day of its fair, which is nearing its end next Saturday, August 22nd. The squares and streets of the Center, as well as the Fairgrounds, will host various performances and events that mark the August calendar for the people of Málaga.
In the Historic Center, varied musical entertainment will take place in the squares of Las Flores, del Obispo, and San Pedro Alcántara from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The Plaza de la Constitución will feature performances by Carlos Bravo (1:00 PM - 4:00 PM) and Lázaro Cruz (4:00 PM - 6:00 PM). On Calle Marqués de Larios, the Fiesta de Verdiales will present Panda Los Cabales and Panda La Torre (Montes Style) during the afternoon, while the Popular Malagueño Folklore Stage will host choirs and dance academies.
The Peña Juan Breva will offer flamenco with Isabel Guerrero and Ismael Rueda at 3:00 PM, followed by the Flamenco Group "Saeta" at 4:30 PM. The Plaza de la Merced will host the Magical Fair "From Earth to the Moon. 30th Anniversary" with games, workshops, theater, and puppets from 12:00 PM to 3:30 PM, featuring various companies.
The Plaza de Toros La Malagueta will be the venue for a bullfight at 7:00 PM, with bulls from Victorino Martín for Manuel Escribano, Emilio de Justo, and Fortes.
At the Real de la Feria, the Parade of Carriages and Horses will tour the grounds from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The Municipal Caseta of Flamenco and Copla will present the Flamenco Group "Sevillanas" (Gema Garcés) at 2:00 PM and the final of the XIX "Ciudad de Málaga" Spanish Song Contest at 10:30 PM, with guest artist Toñi Ronquillo.
The Equestrian Exhibition Center will present the show "Horse, Bull, and Malagueña Tradition" at 4:00 PM and 10:00 PM. The Municipal Children's Caseta will offer the show "Operation Gum" by Compañía La Carpa Teatro at 9:30 PM. The Verdiales Caseta will host the Malagueña Verdiales Festival with Panda Santo Pítar and Panda Coto Tres Hermanas until the early hours of the morning.
The Municipal Auditorium will resonate with the Grand Gala of Antonio Carmona at 10:30 PM, while the Explanada de la Juventud will feature a set by DJ Manuel Pallarés starting at 10:00 PM.
