The coach of AD Ceuta, José Juan Romero, spoke at a press conference to preview the matchday 40 fixture of Liga Hypermotion between his team and Málaga CF this Saturday at 4:15 PM. Romero did not hold back in his praise for the Malaga side, whom he considers the team with the most potential in the league.
Romero described Málaga CF as "potentially, the most talented team in the category for the immediate present and for the future." He added, with "healthy envy," that the current generation of players comes from a youth academy that was "one of the best teams in Spain," defining the blue-and-white squad as "a beautiful team."
“"For me, potentially, it is the most talented team in the category for the immediate present and for the future. It is a beautiful team."
The Ceuta coach also reflected on the team's comfortable league position at this final stage of the season, noting that while the "adrenaline" of competition is missed, it reflects the "extraordinary" nature of the campaign achieved.
Regarding AD Ceuta's absences, Romero confirmed that Aisar is unavailable due to accumulated yellow cards, and Redru and Matos are out with injuries, leaving the left-back position vacant. Also unavailable are Koné, Salvi Sánchez, José Campaña, and Marc Doménech. Despite the absences, the coach assured that "we will have a reliable starting eleven" and that they will compete "extraordinarily well" with the inclusion of reserve players.
