The organizers of Málaga Comic-Con have announced the presence of Richard Dean Anderson, a figure expected to bring a significant nostalgic element to the event. The actor, famous for portraying Angus MacGyver, became a symbol of ingenuity and creativity for solving problems with improvised resources, leaving an indelible mark on popular culture.
In addition to his role in MacGyver, Anderson is also well-known in television science fiction for his portrayal of Jack O’Neill in Stargate SG-1. His attendance will attract two distinct audiences: fans of classic adventure series and enthusiasts of the fantasy and science fiction genres.
The second edition of Málaga Comic-Con, held at FYCMA, aims to establish itself as one of Europe's leading pop culture events. The event, presented as a meeting point for fans, professionals, and creative talent, will offer exclusive content and experiences related to cinema, series, comics, and video games.
The guest list also includes other personalities such as Kristian Nairn (Game of Thrones), Iñaki Godoy (One Piece), Sean Astin (The Lord of the Rings, The Goonies), and Michael Rooker (The Walking Dead, Guardians of the Galaxy), among others.
The event has also announced significant improvements, such as the expansion of its exhibition area from 10,800 to 19,600 square meters, the addition of a second outdoor pavilion, and the strengthening of key areas like the Gaming Plaza and the role-playing game zone. Furthermore, measures have been implemented to improve access management and the gastronomic offerings, addressing feedback from the previous edition.
