The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) has highlighted the temperatures of the Mediterranean Sea, describing them as 'extremely high' and well above normal for this time of year.
Specifically, the buoy located at the Port of Málaga recorded an 'incredible value' of 28.80 degrees on Tuesday.

Furthermore, for Wednesday, high temperatures are expected to continue affecting the region. The province of Almería is under a orange alert, while several areas of Málaga will be on yellow alert, with thermometers predicted to reach between 38 and 40 degrees Celsius.
