The second edition of San Diego Comic-Con Málaga, the renowned popular culture fair, will commence the sale of its first tickets this Thursday, April 23, at 10:00 AM. These passes will be exclusively available to those who attended the event in 2025. The 2026 convention is scheduled to take place from October 1 to 4.
Each purchaser will be able to acquire a maximum of two tickets: one for themselves and one for a companion. Purchase options include day passes (Thursday, October 1, Friday, October 2, Saturday, October 3, or Sunday, October 4) or a full four-day package.
The general daily ticket price for attendees over 13 years old will be 84.80 euros, including management fees. For children under twelve years old, the cost will be 37.10 euros. The organization has confirmed a 60% increase in the general ticket price, which has risen from 50 to 80 euros.
To access this early bird sale, it is essential to have the 2025 Registration ID and a Ticketmaster account. Those who need to retrieve their ID or modify the associated email can do so starting Monday. The organization has published a ticket purchase guide with useful information.
The previous edition, held in 2025, was a public success, attracting nearly 100,000 people, exceeding the initially projected 60,000. However, it also drew criticism for overcrowding and long queues, leading the organization to consider expanding the spaces at the Palacio de Congresos de Málaga to improve accessibility. The event receives public funding, with an investment exceeding 4.5 million euros in the last edition from the Junta de Andalucía and the Málaga City Council.
For the upcoming edition, an attendance capacity of 90,000 attendees (22,500 per day) will be maintained, but spaces will be significantly expanded, including an additional pavilion of over 9,000 m², a larger artists' alley, and a new auditorium. A new general director has taken charge, aiming to “elevate the fan experience” and “pay more attention to details,” without seeking to increase the number of attendees.
